     Nintendo haven’t revealed alotta info about the latest Animal Crossing but there is one major change we know about: in the 3DS version you’ll play as the mayor of the town rather than one of its citizens.

     On your bike, Tortimer~!  Tahtahh, seeyalater~ [no offense intended, (it's a joke)] =]

     So instead of struggling to keep up with your mortgage payments and suffering slave labour in Tom Nook’s shop, you’ll be trying to keep your citizens happy and the town in sound working order. 

     Reports suggest that the 3D will be subtle rather than overtly in your face, which is probably for the best given the nature of the game, even given it’s on 3DS. One other rather random change is that the characters now have fully-developed legs rather than a pair of stumps with feet. Thanks for that! I personally find it a bit scaryy. *shivers*

Nintendo haven’t confirmed whether Animal Crossing will be a 3DS launch title. So prepare yourselves~
